That BBC sports bird "is standing a return to the bad old days"
Obviously hasn't been to a game.
Still, I'd lend her a length.

Safe standing would help turn the new stadium around for me. That and our new QATARI owners.

Arsenal have 60k, Chelsea and Tottenham will have 61k and we will have 66k. I want that. I want to be the biggest and I think the majority of our fans will too.”
Naaah I think the majority of fans want a stadium fit for football... you are the one obsessed with SIXTY SIX FARSANDDDDDD... you fucking senile ol' cunt

Does the stupid old cunt not realise we don't own the stadium and that him and the midget gobshite tried to get out of paying for proper coloured seats in the first place?
As if anyone believes they're going to pay for any of this. It's a carrot dangled to try and trick people into sitting down for their precious capacity upgrade.

It would certainly be cheaper than putting the retractable seating together, no wonder he's all over it

Mike
I mentioned on one of these facebook arguments that the law only states the stadiums have to be all seater, and not that you have to sit by law. Even the clubs expect and accept you to stand "at moments of excitement."
My argument was that some supporters find the whole match a moment of excitement, at least when they are allowed to get an atmosphere going.
So many idiots are saying it's the law, so stop breaking the law and sit down, and don't complain if you're thrown out for breaking the law.
I'm only in danger of breaking my screen when reading these comments from "fellow" West Ham supporters.

I haven't got the link up now, but basically there's some sort of Premier league club meeting about it due soon and Gold is planning to go in all guns blazing in support of it.

I ain't reading all this shit, but didn't the Baroness herself confirm only this season that safe standing was never an option at the FW Bowl? Only for Gold0 to say he was in favour days later?

Sorry to bump this but founf a bit on the Independent: ..."The Act gives the Home Secretary discretionary power to impose a requirement that all Premier provide seated accommodation only but it does not state that spectators must use their seat. That is why stewards at grounds cannot demand that supporters sit down. "...
Maybe of use, too on the other thread.
